Coach Tom Clements came on to discuss play calling, and to share some stories ranging from stealing signals from other teams sidelines and reflection on when Coach McCarthy reclaimed the play calling duties after having Tom call plays for half of a season. We even reflected on his years as QB at Notre Dame from 1972-1974 where he won a national championship in 1973 and finished school just one year before the famed Rudy Ruettiger story took place. He has 20 years of experience as a coach in the NFL being a QB coach for the Saints, Chiefs, and Steelers and moved on to Offensive Coordination for the Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers until he retired from football after the 2016 season.
