E93: Chris Cooley – Joe Gibbs’ Coaching, Questionable Blogging

Audio

Chris Cooley is a former tight end who played 9 seasons for the Washington Redskins. He was drafted in 2004 by Joe Gibbs and we spend some time talking about Joe’s coaching style. Cooley holds the Redskins’ franchise record for most receptions at tight end. In the talk he shares some stories and insight, including his experience with a blog photo that made headlines back in 2008 for its mistaken glimpse of nudity, as well as how the nickname “Captain Chaos” came to be. Today he co-hosts a radio show called Cooley & Kevin with Kevin Sheehan on ESPN 980.
